Once all guests are confirmed on board, we are ready to go - Tip: Make sure you put on sun screen no matter how "cool" you feel (if you burn easily)! The wind, sea spray and swimming can be deceiving. You never know how baked you really are until hours after you get off the boat. If you forgot to pack it, we sell it in our office at Porto Cupecoy!
Next we cross the Anguilla channel to our first stop. You can plug in your iPod and listening to tunes along the way. We have drinks on board: Sodas, water, and beer.
Fist we're heading to Anguilla's most famous, endless, white sand beach, Cap Juluca, also well-known for its five stars, luxury resort owned by the Belmond group. Along the way we cross from the Dutch side of the island to the French side under the Sandy Ground Bridge, passing Marigot with all the private sailing boats moored in the Bay and the Historic Fort Louis overlooking the town. It’s a short ride to Friars Bay and Happy Bay, two distinctly different bays right next to each other. One is a hotspot for locals and tourists, famous for its full moon parties, the other, abandoned and untouched.
From there we set out for Sandy Island. It is the perfect spot to do some calm swimming and snorkeling, and to build up your appetite because lunch is waiting for us at Da Vida's Beach Side Grill. Their lunch menu is the tastiest, prepared with the freshest ingredients and offers a variety of beach classics, including salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and large entrees including BBQ chicken, ribs, grilled fish, steak and crayfish or lobster. We will pre-order your lunch for you, that way you don't have to wait for BBQing, which can be quite long if they are busy. Choose from their Lunch Menu and let us know what you would like us to order.
see the Menu choices). Finishing off the last sips of your rum punch is best enjoyed sea-side, from one of da'Vida's comfy beach chairs, their wide umbrellas shielding you from the strong, warm Caribbean sun on beautiful Crocus beach.
Have a tasty, relaxing lunch, enjoy a few drinks, soak up some sun and back on the boat we're heading towards Little Bay. The beauty, the quiet, the calm, the unspoiled land, a true piece of paradise. Little Bay is part of the marine reserve and your stop here for some swimming with sea turtles is an experience to never forget. You could spend all afternoon here and still never be ready to leave. Nothing beats being on the sea, swimming in the warm, clear water, to note is that the water here is always calm and perfect for those a bit nervous about swimming.
On our way back we make a stop at Long Bay, La Samanna Terre Basse (St Martins own Hollywood) with its mansions on the cliffs. Feed the fish in the turquoise water while seeing if you can spot one of the many celebrities that chill on the golden sands of this exclusive resort.
One last stop... this is a must, Maho Beach. The beach is located at the Western end of the runway of Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM), thus providing you with a very special experience! For those who love the thrill, or just like airplanes, watch and see incoming jets gliding in and landing just a few yards above your head! Have your cameras ready!
From there we're on the final stretch of our tour, passing under the Simpson Bay Bridge, the infamous draw bridge which spans over a short channel connecting the Simpson Lagoon with the open waters of the Caribbean. The Simpson Bay Lagoon, St. Maarten’s largest lagoon, is home to many of the world’s most amazing mega-yachts. Watch these 100-300 ft. yachts and their more modest cousins’ pass under the bridge and squeak through a narrow gut that takes them to this secure and amenity-filled lagoon.
We will pick-up our Cruiseship guests at Chesterfield Marina, Dock Maarten at 9.15am check-in is at 9.00am
